The fully automatic CNC-controlled precision measuring center P 26 is designed as a compact unit for workpiece di-ameter range up to 260 mm. The machine is used to inspect cylindrical gears, pinion type cutters and shaving cutters, worms and worm wheels, hobs, bevel gears, and to mea-sure general deviations in dimension, location and position of axially symmetrical workpieces. Further applications in-clude cams and camshaft measurement and rotor measure-ment.
The heart of the P 26 is an accurate, durable rotary table. Con-figured as a measuring axis (C axis), it provides concentric seating of the workpieces to be tested. In combination with the three linear measuring axes, tangential (X axis), radial (Y axis) and vertical (Z axis), the measuring centers trace and inspect the functional surfaces of gears and general drive components in generator mode. This guarantees maximum measuring accuracy and reproducibility. All Klingelnberg precision measuring centers are equipped with heavy-duty, stable beds and guide systems made of cast iron. At the same time, all bearings and guides of measurement axes are back-lash-free. These form the basis for the high basic accuracy of these measuring centers. The integrated 3D tracer head en-ables both discrete-point probing and scanning, continuous measured value logging. The powerful GINA software makes it possible to evaluate the results quickly and easily.
