LargePure Nickel Conductors - Glass Fibre Insulation Details
This is applied in a multi-stage process. Initially the conductor is double glass lapped and varnished, then overall glass fibre braided and double silicone varnished in order to protect the fibre filaments and improve the insulation properties.
Standard glass fibre will withstand temperatures of up to 350 degrees centigrade, whilst special high temperature glass fibre is suitable for use in temperatures of up to 750 degrees centigrade.
All the multi-strand conductors listed are available with standard glass fibre insulation.
