 Preface Our company has been engaged in banana business since 1989, starting from Chishan Association Fruits and Vegetables Distribution. At the outset, we focused on the domestic market, as the supplier of the military department, school lunches, wholesale markets, supermarkets, and hypermarkets. On account of our diligence and effort, we own around 100-hectare field of production and produce as well as market by ourselves. Currently, domestic sale percentage is 30% and overseas is 70%. Our sources of goods are from members, farmers, production and marketing teams’ workers, and contract farmers. We make contracts with farmers and buyers, build reliable relationships with farmers, administer unified management system and help farmers learn how to match up the standard and then raise exporting sales through planting and picking procedure. In Asia, Japan is the major Importing market of Taiwan banana. Since 2005, the regulation of banana exporting was relaxed and banana’s free-exporting era came, Chishan Association Fruits and Vegetables Distribution has cooperated with trading companies to export. In 2009, HUNG YUN FOOD CO., LTD. established and our main goal is to deliver the best fruit to our customers. Body of Management KUO, WEN-MING established Chishan Association Fruits and Vegetables Distribution in 1989, leading a team with rich banana knowledge for serving the public. Every member has experience which has accumulated over several decades and works in the relative fields. Most of them succeeded to their fathers’ careers, and have abundant practicing experience of banana researching, developing and planting. Structure and Responsibility Planning director: the leading centre of our organization, in charge of directing and conducting guidelines Manager: connection between the management level the departments, supervising the operation of each departments and tracking the implementing procedure. Department of production: the most miscellaneous as well as meticulous department, adhering to the criteria of Traceability System on planting, cultivating and other aspects. Department of selection: sorting out damaged fruits for quality guarantee and grading. Department of packing: packing, precooling and shipment Department of accounting: specifications of packing, offering, order processing , audit, customer complaint management and so forth. Department of promotion: package design, propaganda poster, website promotion and so forth Department of sales: increasing sales channels, data integration Management Accommodating to Japanese clients’ need and the domestic trend of agriculture refinement and modernization, we set up our traceability system and carry out pesticide management as well as inspection of pesticide residue. We cooperate and make contract with farmers. Besides, we adopt stricter supervision on exporting procedure, expecting to deliver safe and healthy fruits to customers. We have been working in the place of production for a long time and well known plenty of agricultural producers' cooperatives. Farmers’ group in Pingtung, Tainan, Yunlin, and Nantou sell the current season’s fruits harvested locally and serving for framers is always our goal.
